Welcome to Too Truthful, a domain that is lovingly managed by
Elle. She 'tries' to update it as often as possible, but
often doesn't come close to what she'd like. Here you can find
personal blips from her everyday life, thoughts, and
feelings, and a wide variety of content for you to create your
own website. Enjoy!

Tutorial - Pixeling Clouds
This tutorial will teach you how to pixel clouds, a favorite of mine to draw.
They are super easy to make, and really cute too, so you might find yourself
soon making them all the time too! Enjoy!
Step One - Circles
Start off in paint, drawing multiple light grey or light blue circles gently
overlapping on another.

Step Two - Erasing Lines
Once you finished making the circles, using the eraser tool, erase all the
lines that intersect, and erase until you reach where the circles touch each
other on the outside. Look below to see how the circles are erased. Also, fix any
circles that are too low and would make the cloud look akward (from the top
right of my cloud, the fourth circle over is too low, in the preceding step
picture, you'll see that circle has been fixed).

Step Three - Smoothing
Make sure all the lines have been erased that intersect within the middle of
the cloud, and all circles fixed that make the cloud look akward.

Step Four - Base Color
Once you erased all the lines intersecting, choose a color a few hues lighter
than the outlining cloud color (either light blue or light grey). Either outline
the cloud again in on the inside, or simply fill the cloud with that color like
I did.

Step Five - Luminance
After the cloud has been filled with a lighter color, then use a color even
lighter than the fill color, which in my case was practically a white, and put a
little squiggle along either corner of the cloud (either upper or lower right,
or upper or lower left). I put mine in the lower left, indicated by the arrow.
It doesn't have to be too dark, it just shows a bit of luminance on the cloud.

Once you've done that, your pretty much done! Thus, a cute cloud!
